The Leben CS-300F is an integrated amplifier with 15 watts of tube power - through the GE JAN-6197 valves previously used only for computers (JAN - Joint Army and Navy). They are low distortion and long life valve that Leben sourced many years ago and have been seeking the best circuit design to bring out the best performance in this clean tube. The driver circuit utilises a very high quality tube, the 17EW8 (Hi-Fi) produced specifically for hifi by a major Japanese electronics manufacturer. The result - a nice full sound and the bonus of a very high quality headphone output.
- Highest grade of audio components used throughout.
- Headphone output
- Recording Out RCA terminals
- Balance control
- Tape Monitor switch
- Five channel input
- Speaker / Headphone selector switch
- Bass Boost 0, +3dB and +5dB below 100Hz
- WBT type Binding Posts
- Self-biasing circuit accepts new tubes without any manual bias adjustments
- Natural wood side-panels made from Canadian white-ash. This wood is very hard and heavy and is often used as a material for baseball bats and oars for row boats!
